Excellent yoga routine for any level, although the ”weight loss” aspect is perhaps overstated. However, if you like a good stretching workout, with modifications shown for those that are less flexible, this is a solid video. Voiceover instruction is well paced and explains the correct body positioning. Beautifully set in the Southwest canyon lands with serene music throughout.

  1. So glad I found this on You Tube. I started doing this routine in my forties and loved it! I’m sure I did this routine into my sixties, then got hip problems, hip surgery and now in my seventies going back to yoga. I love how the video shows you the modifications for different levels of mobility and flexibility for each of the poses. I know it will be a slow process to regain some of my flexibility but all progress is good. Thanks ago for posting this

  2. I've been doing this routine for over 20 years ❤ thanks so much for posting, my laptop doesn't even have a dvd slot anymore and my copy wore out

My sister became a yoga teacher after seeing what this dvd did to my body, she couldn't believe i wasn't running the way it defined my legs… Always such a dependable workout, always good for both the body and the soul- very centering ❤

  3. Thanks for this post!!!Although I have the dvd and still love it, my player is screwed up at the moment so this is my "go to". While I haven't always done this regularly, when I do I feel great. I'm getting back into it after too long a break so going slowly but detemined to keep with it! Suzanne's Yoga for Weight Loss is the best and I just hope she knows how many people appreciate her and all her great workouts. Thank you Suzanne!!!!💟💖

  4. I have a roku now and even though I have multiple dvds of this and had a stroke in 2006 I've been struggling to reinvite yoga into my life. There's very little yoga routines on youtube that are actually doable with a physical disability. Deason's approach with multiple levels of yoga at the same time allows me the mental room to figure out what my body can actually do. I'm grateful for the sane pace… the gradual shift between poses which is more disability friendly. I'm now reinviting yoga into my life now and I'm so grateful this is here. Thank you. 😊

  5. I am so grateful for the thoroughness of this yoga sequence and the fabulous prompts. I use this a LOT, even though I have a 3 day a week Zoom "local," practice. Sometimes this offering calls me, and I think how long I have used Patricia Walden's master teaching. I hope she gets to see and read these comments and take in her continuing legacy!
