Please join me for this 28-minute at-home yoga practice designed to help you feel good and bring you back into a balanced state. As we know, emotional, mental, and/or physical stress can lead to the collection of tension in the mind and body. This cooling and calming practice was created specifically to help relieve any accumulated tension.

Become present with what’s happening this very moment. A gentle reminder to call upon the breath, body awareness, and to find stillness. This practice can be used as preventative care or to address current tension and stress.

Invite a sense of calm and, as always, Find What Feels Good.

  1. Adrienne, when I take a seated position as we do at the beginning of practice, after an extended period of time the mid back starts to hurt, become tense, and I find I can't sit that way for long. Do you have any tips?

Did this practice with ear buds in on noise canceling mode, since my roommates were getting ready to go to a game at the beginning (and the living room is really the only comfortable place to do yoga in my place). It ended up being a surprising benefit because it amplified my breath in my ears, and in the beginning, sitting and doing ujjayi breath, my world filled with the ocean of my spirit. It was so calming. Reminded me of the bee breath I learned in a new video just earlier this week 🙂 awesome!

  3. Was going to come to the comments to complain that we’re almost 7 minutes into the video and it’s not yoga it’s just breathing and we don’t have all damn day.

    Saw in the comments how much it’s helping people – see in myself that I am more tense than I realize and it’s making me unkind.

  4. this practice did not align with me today. I was downright fussy the entire time, coming out of my breath and whining. I've never had that happen before. by the end of the practice, I still hadn't found my flow, so I ended up just laying down and listening to Adriene speak. only then, when I was breathing with my back on the floor did I feel present. even though I didn't connect with this practice today, I don't regret doing it because it showed me what I DID need. and sometimes that's just laying down 🙂

  5. Attract l 🦋❤️🦋 l Day – 7 l Aug. 7, 2024 l Blessed Beloved Beauties! This session is so refreshing and it was right on time as the last two terms have been overzealously stressful. The university said that teacher assistants aren't qualified to grade. I really need an assistant for the responsibility of 68 assignments per week. I turned down a big class for the upcoming term in 2 1/2 more weeks. I am proud of my decision to choose health and wellness over burnout. I know God will make away. Best wishes, everyone! 🦋❤️❤️💪🏿🙏🏿
