This yoga class is designed to assist you in releasing and relieving stress and anxiety. Oftentimes, we hold stress, tension and anxiety in the chest, shoulders, upper back and hips. This class focuses on postures which open and stretch these areas of the body. This class also includes several breathing exercises, which will calm your nervous system.

  1. Wow!!* I was expecting a passive heart opening stretch & breathing. This was active with standing & strengthening grounding poses & plank before the gentle floor stretches. Along with the Breathing techniques ,I feel Very de stressed & Relaxed❤Thank You

  2. Thank you Erin. I feel calmer. You are excellent teacher.. I am new to yoga and enjoy your technique. I live in a nursing home for now. I'm planning on getting out eventually. Peace to you and again thank you.

  3. Whatever I need, emotionally or physically whether it is stress release, a challenge, build strength or stretch and flexibility I can find it in one of your practices. Thank you for being there with compassion and kindness.

  4. Your channel is great. I love that most of your videos are music free. Your voice has a great balance: energetic enough to be engaging, yet still soothing. I love that you don’t have endless chitchat about your feelings 😂

  5. Good morning Erin , and everyone who is practicing at this time . Today is Saturday , June 23 , 2023 @ 6:18 am . I have Absolutely NO idea 🤷🏼‍♀️ why it’s been so long that I’ve done this practice . This is , Seriously , like my FAVORITE practice EVER . I AM a very anxious person , so this is peeeeerfect.
Oh , and just so you know , since we’ve seen each other last. I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver . It was passed on me birth and i started having complications over the last few years . I’m now in the advanced stage of the process , trying to get on the liver transplant list , so , needless to say , my body is not up to par .
However , by doing little by little , I have Finally gained enough strength back to do this practice . I’m doing it in the morning , and since you’re doing shavasna , I’m thinking I should have done it during the evening . Lol , I’ll make a note 😉 … However , I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE this practice, and I am grateful to be back . Have a wonderful rest of your day and I will see you soon . Love Always , Namaste 🧘‍♀️🙏🏻🕉️❤❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 55:24

  6. I've love this class so much and I've been practicing it regularly for almost five years now. This morning I realized it could be modified into a slow flow class as the pace is perfect for it so I tried it out. I had one of the best workouts ever!

  7. Just crawled out of bed from my third round of covid. This class is great for a lot more than stress. I was so stiff and sore from laying in bed. This class helped with those issues so much and it's gentle enough to practice even when you aren't feeling well. I feel a huge difference afterwards. Thank you for your all your amazing classes!

  8. Erin, thank you so much for this. It is so deep, yet gentle and easy to do. The relaxation I had at the end reached parts other yoga practices don't reach. Please do more of these – it really is a lifeline, especially if you suffer from anxiety. Incorporating the breathing practices is so important to enabling deep asanas. You are a really good teacher.

  9. i've just been through such an exhausting week and this practice helped me to relieve so much stress in the body and mind. You're such a life-saver Erin! And i really care about your health condition. last time you updated with us you mentioned your injury. How are you now? If possible, please update further with us. Or else, no rush, please take as long as you need to recover and nourish yourself. May you have peace in your thoughts, peace in your your words, peace in your heart, Namaste!

  10. I feel so blessed to have found yoga. Thank you Erin. I am with you almost everyday and each class heals, strengthens and calms. I hope you are healing too and look forward to see you back teaching again.

  11. You were one of the first yoga teachers that I followed on YouTube many years ago before I became a teacher myself. I've just done this practice because I'm preparing to deliver a yoga for anxiety course for teenagers and I love getting inspiration from other teachers. It has reminded me why I loved following your videos for all those years! You have such an accessible manner. Just beautiful. Thank you for being an inspiration along my yoga journey. May you have peace in your thoughts, peace in your words and peace in your heart. From my heart to yours, Namaste. Paula x

  12. I've been through some stressful events before this session and now I do feel a lot better. That sensation in my chest has mostly gone. Thanks a lot, Erin. I also love all those beautiful places you have your sessions filmed. <3

  13. I am short on time today, but I plan to revisit this in the next several days before a hip arthroscopy next week. My anxiety has been really high as well as my resting heart rate – I got through about half and it helped already XOXO
