  3. I’m a dancer and injured my right lower back hyper-extending an arabesque (my fault). 2.5 years later and I’ve finally found something that seems promising! It was shocked to find out that my inner core on that right side was weak. Incorrect technique and not engaging inner core can cause so many injuries in dance (and other sports).

  4. Since my daughter was born one and a half years ago I have been neglecting my body. I have really bad sciatic pain to the point where I couldn’t move during pregnancy and I just tended to avoid movement and hope it gets better. Sleep deprivation, night nursing, etc really took a toll on my body. I did this session and I suddenly started crying in the end from relief but also from the sad realization that I haven’t been giving my body the attention it so desperately needs. I never comment but I just wanted to say thank you ❤

  6. ive done tons of stretching but my hamstrings never seem to get more flexible. i took the sit and reach test and couldn't even reach the board to score a 0. i weigh 130 and i can literally put my knee to my shoulder, but can't even get close to doing a toe touch. any advice? oh also i have sciatica, but the mobility was terrible before and now.

  7. I was down in my back due to sciatica and lower back pain to where I could not even bend at the waist. I did these stretches for about a month every day and I could immediately see that It was working. Because I haven’t slept good the past week I’m having a flare up with my sciatic nerve. But this is the first issue I’ve had in about 6 months thanks to you! Tysm for sharing this with us. About to do it now for some relief. ❤❤

  8. I experienced bilateral nerve-like pain in my lower extremities following a poor choice in dealling with a stuck under-the-bed drawer. After one session all was put mostly right! So thank you! I will continue for several more sessions as it is still threatening but only on one side now.

  9. I was crying because of the pain this morning, I couldn’t walk or sit without being in complete agony. I was hyperventilating because of the sheer torture. This video saved me. Gentle, simple moves that I was already familiar with and Adriene guided me through them with such grace. The pain hasn’t completely gone away but I feel like I can get through the day and I can breathe again. Thank you.

  12. Thank you Adriene for creating this video tutorial! I’ve had a lot on my plate with moving and so forth. Felt my lower left side of my back get tender but I kept pushing forward. Until I had to give the pain this much needed holistic remedy. I detest OTC pain relievers and refuse to use them. So I searched for yoga for sciatica and it took me a minute but I found you. This is the best so far! THANK YOU & I love the yoga pose = smile. I will be returning until this pain is more manageable however I couldn’t take deep breaths without feeling pain before your instructive practice🥹I appreciate you!

  13. I was so close to calling the Dr today because my sciatica pain has grown all the way to my heel. During some of these poses I was nearly in tears, but like Adriene said it's important to breathe through the pain. After this session my pain is not 100% gone, but I can walk and sit and hopefully fall asleep tonight. ❤TY
