Hello everyone,

This yoga class is designed to help with managing depression and anxiety. As anxiety and depression increasingly are becoming a part of many people’s lives, yoga has shown to help many in managing these conditions (including myself). This is a very gentle and slow class that is designed to help you become mindful of your breath and engage in a series of grounding and calming postures that can help remove any energetic blocks. I invite you to please listen to your body throughout the practice and stay connected to your breath. Allow yourself to feel the sensations that the body is producing and just stay with your breath. Breathing is a great way to ground, calm the nervous system and relax the mind.

If at any time throughout the practice, you need to take a break, please go ahead and do so and join back in whenever you are ready. Although practicing yoga once might not necessarily make a huge difference right away, consistent practice may help manage depression and anxiety. So, whenever you are ready, please get into your most comfiest clothes, and meet me on your mat in a comfortable seated position.

Lastly, I sincerely hope you find this class helpful and feel better afterwards. I am sending lots of healing and positive energy your way.

From my heart to yours, Namaste.

Love,
Yana T.
