Restorative Yoga for Anxiety & Tension Within The Chest

This is a 15 minute restorative yoga block class to help release anxiety and tension from the upper body helping to bring more oxygen into the body.
This yoga class will help you breathe better, stretch the chest and back, improve posture and help calm the body and mind.
We will be using a yoga block in the sequence however if you don’t own one you can replace it with a few stacked pillows or roll a pillow or blanket.

  2. I’ve been dealing with long covid for a while now and after some to much action I wanted to relax. But while resting the tension in my chest just didn’t go away. I’m glad I remembered about chest openers. Thanks a lot. This exercise feels like a relief and release. Will come back to your channel

  3. I hated the exercises at first but then eased into them, of course I needed a bolster under my head, still quite intense. But then I am a middle aged male strentgh athlete with a stiff upper back. What I liked most is that for the first time in my life I felt an unblocking in my SI joint which is a chronic issue. Othe rexercises help, too but I never felt that "pop". Great! It seemed that when I loosened the thoracic spine I could better loosen the hips as well. Thanks!
