  1. So I can find a ton of videos online about all of these "raise your big toe by itself etc etc" but I can't find a single video that instructs me on HOW to get to this stage when I cannot presently raise my big toe all by itself without toes 2-5 coming along as well. Surely there are therapists who encounter people who can't move their toes independently. What do we do?

  2. What is the “ tripod” you we’re talking about? I like your videos but I feel like I don’t understand some of your terminology do if you explain it for people like I would appreciate it

  3. Very cool! It is yoga for the feet! Yoga teaches how to use the toes and the feet keeping them in proper alignment with the floor. All standing yoga poses require proper alignment of the feet before you can build the pose. So many people have no awareness of their feet. Great video.

  4. Superb exercise and teaching but crass to call it yoga. As a professional acupuncturist/tuina/qigong practitioner with decades of yoga expertise due to my South Asian Indian heritage I can explain in detail why it works, physiologically, from each of these these modalities/paradigms, as well as if confining it only to musculoskeletal dynamism – all have different specifics and correlations between them. Better to teach and call it as it is and reference yoga correlations you might think are relevant. As it stands it goes against the ethos of acurate information, as I understand this site elsewhere requires. It's a shame to lose credibility. I am struggling between liking this and cringing so would not share or recommend in its current form. I do still thank you since I trust your good intention.

  5. Spot on. I’ve been doing Iyengar yoga and she’s got it perfectly in line with them. Including raising all up, putting the big toes down, then all of them. Of course we don’t use that green gum between the toes … irritating though, the way she reaches her toes with so much comfort!
