Stop doing exercises useless lower back exercises that often make your lower back pain worse. Instead use this reverse hyper variation to strengthen your lower back without compressing disks.

The reverse hyperextension is great exercise for strengthening the posterior chain including the glutes, hamstrings and lower back muscles. This can be done at home on the arm of a sofa or on a bench / box in the gym.

  2. Such a helpful video! I started using Planet Ayurveda’s back pain relief products recently, and the improvement has been incredible. If you’re struggling, definitely consider giving them a go!

  3. The reverse hyper is the worst exercise for me it always either results in sharp pain immediately or later in lower back. Does anyone know what my experience indicates about my problem? ( Ie.I don't have any structural problems that show up on MRIs) ANY GOOD ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED

  4. I just tried this out at the gym and it didn't quite feel so great but then again it was my first time trying it. Just wondering but is your channel geared towards strengthening with herniated discs in mind? You have so much great content. I'm just afraid to try something and get hurt so I am being cautionary 🙂
