3 Foods That Naturally Decrease Cortisol #shorts
Dr. Janine shares three foods that naturally decrease cortisol. She talks about how dark chocolate contains theobromine which provides a similar feeling of euphoria to decrease cortisol. She looks at how fish and seafood contain fish oil that studies have shown inhibits the adrenal activation elicited by stress. Lastly, Dr. Janine explains that green and black tea contain polyphenols that naturally decrease cortisol.

Chocolate & caffeine for stress? How about starting with plenty of sleep, mindful breathing & daily physical activity?
Omega 3 🤡
Omegas from plant-based foods are a lot less toxic than omegas from fish.
Raw honey has a potent affect on dropping cortisol too if I recall!
Doent medicinal Marijuana also good for stressful CNS
That's how the British tolerate each other. Yes,

Consistency transforms health and overall well-being.
Just leave the chocolate out of it. Quit: Chocolate, Sugar, Caffeine, Pasta, Rice, Potatoes, Noodles, anything with MSG, sugar replacements (especially). Keep to meat and eggs and exercise regularly. Doesn't need to be extreme, just some stretching gently will help a lot.

Funny how automatically I’m drawn to these foods while I’m having a lot of stress. Except for the seafood.. don’t like it. And I can say it helps with relieving stress 🙏🏼
News anchor lady right here😏
All three are very high in histamines unfortunately, for those of us who are histamine intolerant.
Generally speaking, the darker the chocolate the more lead is in it. You eat too much of it and your cortisol will go to zero. Fish and seafood are good mercury sources.
Dark chocolate is horrible for you. 70% of adult Americans have type 2 diabetes and need to stop eating sugar.
Allergic to chocolate.
I need a recipe now that combines all three 😂
Green and black tea? 🙂
No, thanks. That will be like coffee. I avoid it because anxiety lows down and I can deal better will stress if I am calmer.
To put cortisol levels down, I take Ashwagandha. And it really improved my sleep and dealing with stress. 🙂
I eat all of them regularly (except the chocolate) and yea, no… doesn't decrease my cortisol.
Beans beans beans…. High fiber + protein. With some green vegetables… cortisol binds to the fiber & flushes it from your body. Please look into karen herd & bean protocol… also, psyllium husk powder- high fiber. Best remedy, along with managing stress & processing trauma 💜
Cut the fish. The marine kingdom is starving because of you!
So i have such high cortisol levels. I use organic raw cacao powder….im guessing this will help ? And i should use it more?
I can't get it under control, it's been a rough year. I wake up randomly in the middle of the night with my heart racing. How much dark chocolate is a good amount to take?
Eh tea will increase your cortisol
I do not find this subject line when searching this PMID:12909818.
