Back when I purchased clothes with little consideration for their materials, I ended up with garments that looked cute but were incredibly unbreathable, itchy, or uncomfortable in some way. This included everyday basics like bralettes and underwear—especially if I wore them to the gym or a yoga class.

It felt impossible to find a brand that made comfortable attire from mostly organic cotton that was also fair trade, stylish, and affordable—but then I happened upon Pact. Years later, several of the first wardrobe essentials I purchased are still my go-to comfy clothes. And they’re currently having an end-of-season clearance sale that includes some of these very same items.

My favorite Pact clothes are undoubtedly their 95% organic cotton undies. (Although Pact offers many items that are 100% cotton, their undies are 5% elastane.) I’ve tried a couple of different styles, including these high-waisted briefs and their cozy boy shorts; I love that they are usually invisible underneath my leggings or jeans and so breathable that I forget I’m wearing them.

If, like me, you prefer to put on clothes only once for the entire day and have that look double as your work fit and yoga fit, you might consider Pact’s 100% organic cotton t-shirts. I wear them in the summer and layer them in the winter. They’re lightweight yet surprisingly durable. And they’re on sale for almost half of the original price.

Pact offers sizes up to 3XL in these bottoms. Practicing yoga in a mostly cotton blend (95% organic cotton and 5% elastane) makes my skin feel like it can actually breathe. Although the legging tends to stretch out a bit throughout the day (perhaps because they’re mostly cotton), and they tend to show sweat stains more than other leggings I own, they’re super stretchy and move with my body. Plus, the pocket is pretty clutch.
