Hi friends, this week I’m offering you a 30 minute hatha yoga practice perfect for beginners! The focus of this practice is on stretching your hips and lower back. This is great for those of you looking for sciatica pain relief or who just want to increase your flexibility in your lower body. There are no props necessary and it’s great for all experience levels.
If you’re new to yoga, remember that the most important thing is to stay focused on your breath. Don’t worry if you don’t get all the poses correctly or if you need to take a break. Be patient with yourself, do what you can and remember to relax. This is a wonderful class to alleviate stress and anxiety.
We will work on all areas of the hip joint as well as glute stretches, quad stretches, psoas, hip flexors, hamstrings and low back.

I don’t mean to be crass. But is this for women or am I doing it wrong? The first one was squishing my gonads.

Thank you for this video ❤ i have lowerback and hip pain and this helped me in first try. First time doing yoga in my life and it wasn't as hard as i tought. My head started hurting right after a sat up, don't know did i do something wrong in the end 🤔
I can't even do the first movement. I don't know what you mean with your feet + can't sit cross legged anyway let alone bend forward
that was really great! had some dealings with my lower back the last couple of weeks since i decided to load / unload my ikea cupboard alone 😂
done lots of different videos like adrienne and mady morrison whic whete all good but this one is my favorite because it helped open up those hips so much (where i didn’t feel any pain but in retrospect some stiffness) and freeing the back that way

I'm an aerial teacher and performer, and my hips and low back get SUPER tight from all of the inverting and twisting that I do in the air! I'm also a hairstylist so standing in one spot all day with my arms up only makes it worse! This practice was great for undoing some of that tension and loosening up. I even cried a little bit during the first side stretch!
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed after a long walk on the beach. Walking on the soft, uneven sand always hurts my hips and this made me feel better.
Why is this called beginner? I've been doing yoga for awhile and I can't do 75% of the poses. Doesn't beginner usually incorporate poses that a beginner can actually do?
