I use the term to reach a wider audience to help people who are looking for a way to lose excess weight and practice yoga at the same time. I know from personal experience how that feels, as I have lost 40 & 50 lbs from both of my pregnancies and the weight didn’t just melt off after. It took at least a year of focused effort, exercise, healthy eating, a mild calorie deficit and this exact type of yoga for me to lose the weight and feel strong and confident in my body. So I created these videos to meet the viewers where they are, help them along in their weight loss journey and hopefully teach them self-love, strength & mindfulness along the way. 💙

  1. Discovered this video suddenly and realised just how bad my balance is. I have previously many other morning yoga routines but this single leg standing ones from dancer to warrior 3- just couldn't do them and kept wobbling. 😢😢😢

  2. I got one of my knees to touch my nose one time back in another video but I haven’t done it since and it’s a little frustrating. I feel like it’s more mental then physical

  3. Very good. BUT, the balance part is very challenging, certainly not a beginner move? How many overweight people are able to do these types of balances? Not many. Despite that, I enjoyed this flow very much, thank you,

  4. I'm 49 years old and have been overweight and experiencing lower back pain for 10 years now. I finally decided to give yoga a try. I found SBY and have been practicing daily with her videos fo a month. I am amazed at how much better I feel!! My body is getting stronger, I am no longer in pain, and best of all my anxiety is under control!! I cant recommend her videos/ member program enough!

  5. I started following and doing Sara Beth yoga 3 weeks ago after I started having severe back pain and it’s definitely helped. My muscles in my back are so tight and I’ve had a massage a week for three weeks and doing this yoga 5 days a week. I’ve struggled with back pain for a long time, especially at night in bed (back and hip) but it kicked up severely after I drove 7 hrs from Georgia to florida. I’m finally getting sone relief. Stopped the naproxen, Doans pills, and high dose ibuprofen since I noticed it just wasn’t helping, just killing my kidneys…. I’ve really enjoyed the yoga and gonna keep doing it instead of weights to see if it helps with my weight loss too. I’d love to see some meal planning ideas for post menopausal over 50 weight loss.

  6. Hi Sarah, I am new to yoga and am struggling with the dancer’s pose/warrior 3/half moon transitions. I simply cannot due dancer’s pose (though I keep trying, I keep falling over) Is there a modification or alternate pose I could do during this part to help me build strength and eventually do it? Thank you for any advice-

  7. I started today! I did modified a bit and like she said don't strain. It's hard at first but it gets better 10 minutes in and all the sweat was worth it! It felt so good… thank you🙏🙏❤️👍👍

I started doing yoga because I want to relax and because exercise make me so tired but after trying your 10 mins beginner yoga for 1 week I love it so much and Now I've tried 4 of your videos for 3 week and I don't have many stress even if I have many things to do and I've lose some weight too .I really love your yoga videos and Thank you.🥰
