This is a gentle 10 minute yoga for stress and anxiety relief. The stretches in this yoga class are focusing on the hips to help release tension within the lower body. Focusing on the hips and lower back will help to let go of physical and emotional stress as we hold a lot of our stagnant emotion within our hips. The supine twist pose however will also get into the chest helping you to create the space needed for optimal oxygen intake helping to combat anxious feelings. Being super calm and restorative, this class can be done anytime of the day but i think it makes a great bedtime yoga routine.

  1. I was so distracted and busy with my thoughts while doing supine twist when the phrase: "Start observing and stop reacting" slid through. And I thought to myself: "This was exactly what I needed to hear today". I've been so stressed out thinking about what I should do or don't do that I have not been able to take a step back and look where I'm standing. Since this is the second time I have a similar message this week. I think it is time to take a step back. Thank you! Namaste 🙏

  3. Perfect reset video. I clicked on 4 videos before yours of a trainers being loud, rambunctious, or talking the entire video which is fine for a high impact workout but not a mediation or relaxation one. Great video. Just what I was looking for! Thank u

  5. i was right into advanced yoga finally back in 2019.. felt great.. less anger.. nicer to people.. more patient.. made some bad choices and i am now starting back into beginner yoga. Today i walked and walked and did some squats and calf raises just simple things i could think of and i could NOT get my right foot to wake up. I did a couple of these videos and not only is my circulation better i finally have done a yoga exercise instead of just talking about how i need to start doing it again. So out of shape.. but it's all about momentum with me.. string a few days in a row together and i start doing better. It's just always .. tomorrow.. tomorrow.. tomorrow.. maybe my foot was meant to be like that to get me back into these exercises. I'll choose to believe that anyway
