  1. Thank you so much for this brilliant short chair workout. I'm very unfit since Covid and this was just what I needed. Not too long which usually puts me off and I could tell it was proper exercise because I got slightly out of breath. Brilliant thank you again 👍😘🤗

  2. 😀THANK YOU! Really enjoyed –

    1. You got right into the program, didn't spend three minutes trying to sell me something

    2. Kept the program moving along

    3. Varied between the upper and lower body very well

    4. Gave good insight into where you should be feeling the actions on your body

    5. No nonsense, no condescending or patronizing attitude, just respectful instructions

Really appreciate it – I will definitely be passing along your YouTube ! Thanks!

  4. I'm new here I really like the way you did this and I'm going to try to keep coming back and looking at it almost every day and maybe look at some of your other videos thank you for doing this for those of us who are just getting started again I'm overweight need to lose the weight due to severe pinched nerve and I just can't move that much or walk long distances

  5. After a car accident and back surgery I couldn't run anymore. I gave up on everything. Gained weight. I have been in pain even after surgery but these exercises were easy for me without causing pain. Though it did prove how out of shape i have gotten. I'm sure with continued exercises i will be able to move without pain. thank you so much for these.

  6. Freaking brilliant, I’m a 70 year young guy who retired about four years ago, I had a physical job , and my body fitness has suffered, since very little exercise. I do walk a lot , but this is perfect for me . Thank you so much 😊

  7. So, I turned 60 in April. I'm doing well; I lost 40 lbs from June 2023-June 2024. I am crippled by arthritis and have pretty poor range of motion & balance.

BUT: Between the lost weight and the basic seated exercises I've been doing, I CAN NOW RISE FROM A SEAT WITHOUT PUSHING OFF THE ARMS OF THE CHAIR OR A TABLE. I've needed to push against something for 20 years.

And I can touch my toes. It's been about 35 years for that.

I'm not here to brag. I'm here to affirm anyone trying to improve & tell you DON'T GIVE UP.

I'm literally a cripple who needs a walker for further than 100 feet, and needed a wheelchair for any distance beyond 1000 feet. Now that distance is 3000.

I'm probably in better shape than the year I turned 50! Certainly, I am healthier than I was at 40. I was 277 pounds, my cholesterol was through the roof & my diabetes got diagnosed then with an A1c3 of 11.4.

However, all of you whose doctor's keep telling them "You'll feel better if you lose weight", I must say that's only partially true. When I was 277lbs, I merely needed a cane & could still walk for miles. Stairs were no issue.

Here I am down to 175lbs and rejoicing because I got the rollator walker to the drug store whose door is 1000 feet from mine WITHOUT A REST!

Sorry to tell ya doc, the weight loss didn't magically cure my polyarthritis, although there has been some modest functional improvement because of gentle seated exercise & walking a bit more.

  8. I’m in 77 and need to increase my exercise & strength. So glad I found you on Utube. Today I needed to take breaks- I look forward to improving and getting to the point where these are too easy!
    Thank you 😊

  9. Excellent dear,i am a yoga teacher as well firness trainer but i wanted to teach my mom who is 60 years old some basic sitting exercises,i came through yours, from today i will start teaching her this.

  10. Good morning. I am a 75 yr old who used to be very active, barely sat down. Then my husband passed and I became very depressed. I also fight with neuropathy and fibromyalgia. It’s hard for me to walk, although I try to walk up to an hour several times a week. Biggest problem is finding shoes that don’t hurt my feet. I’m glad I found this channel as I’m going to try this. 😂

  11. I have let myself go. I used to walk a lot but now am the sole caregiver for my husband who has PSP. He can’t be left alone and although I get lots of help and support from my family they all work full time. I am now very overweight and unfit and this looks just the thing to get me moving again. Ni e to read all the comments from your followers. Wish me luck!! 😀😀

  12. This is great. I had a spinal reconstruction for 2 spine deformities. I’m now dealing with chronic pain because one of the rods broke and hardware failure. I’ve been going on short walks. Now I’ll be adding this to my daily routine. Thank you. I am also a new subscriber as of today!
